Just sold my Stampede VXL....Slash 4x4 a good next step?

Would this be a good next RC vehicle as hours ago I just sold my Stampede VXL?? It has always looked pretty sweet and I would also do the MT conversion eventually. Thoughts/input ........ thanks

I am pretty sure you will be more than pleased. Just search you tube for videos of the slash 4x4 and you will be amazed at what she can do and the abuse she is willing to take! I have 3 pedes also and wish I would have bought slash 4x4's instead!

You will enjoy the Slash 4x4. I have a 'Pede VXL and a Slash 4x4. The Pede is a crazy and wild kind of fun with wheelies constantly and flipping over if you are not careful on some surfaces. The Slash is more conservative with less wheelies (none if you use the stock battery pack) and much better handling. It goes where you want it to go, and naturally does not flip over as easily as the Pede while turning at a fairly high rate of speed.

They are different animals. Sometimes I consider the 'Slash my favorite of the two. Other days I consider the "Pede my favorite. In the end, they are such different animals that it just comes down to whatever kind of mood I am in.

Of course the Slash 4x4 requires more maintenance and special attention to certain problem areas. The "Pede on the other hand is just one of those trucks you can just thrash every time and just throw it on your shelf or bench when done without having to clean or check anything on it. It just requires no special attention whatsoever and just seems to laugh at you when its being bashed.

On 3s the Slash 4x4 wheelies quite well! I love mine It does everythIng I put it through. It is a speed racer, off roader and a hill climber. Not to mention a great mud truck. I enjoy mine to the hilt

the tracking info on the UPS website says my new Slash 4x4 will be here tomorrow.....I am excited. It's almost like Christmas every time I get to open a new box. My wife and son think I'm crazy.
