Anyone get the o.d. measurement of the stock tires? Would be great if they were not too big.

EDIT: They must be too big. 88mm is over 3" right?

Those are 2.2" wheels (TC are 1.9") and the tyres are all rear buggy sizes around 1.6" wide. Yeah, more for the Merv or Summit.

In regards to my post above, that was directed to eemmaaxxxx who wanted a better shot of the tread on my offroad setup. They have since been shaved down quite a bit... still a good tread but I really would prefer a softer compound, that would be more versatile for onroad and offroad combined.

Last I heard, Schumacher closed up their US Distribution Center and Office nearly a year ago and their product is now sent out from England, luckily the last I heard, their support is fantastic if you do have to buy from there while here in the States. Good luck to everybody on finding a hobby shop that carries their products just for that reason!

Had some new wheels in the mail last week and thought I'd try them on the rally.
They are huge, with a width of 32mm. Got them here
They just fit under the body with a little camber:

Hey guys, noob to 1/16 size cars. (Plenty of 1/10 and 1/6)

I didnt want to start a new thread.

Wonder what size wheels and tires will fit on these? Where in the world do I find them haha.

I am more in the RC crawler world so 1.9 and 2.2 wheels and tires are what im used to. But here I see 24mm stuff. Have no clue what im lookin at.

    THANKS! ROCK ON!

The wheel size is 1,9" ..same as your 1,9" crawler wheels
Hex is 12mm ..same as your 1,9" crawler wheels
With is 24mm (1") .. roughly the same as your 1,9" crawler wheels

They just have an outside dia. with tyres, of around 64mm .. your 1,9" crawler wheels with tyres may be 94mm or 108mm

So any 1,9" crawler wheels will fit on the Rally VXL and KB Rally
only difference is offset and tyres

    Hi Guys,
I'm trying to buy from the place PIR3lly suggested but I'm concerned about things not fitting.

The inner tire diameter for a lot of the tires is 51mm.
The diameter of the many/most of the wheels is 52mm. IS this going to work? Or do I go for the 54mm inner diameter tyre for the 52mm diameter wheel?

The sizes at r2hobbies are not always that accurate.
If you mean the gold wheels I mentioned, they are indeed 52mm.
The width is 26mm. So you will need the 51mm drift tires that are 26mm wide.
The other tires that are 54mm, are also wider. You will need them to fit on the wide wheels (second one I mentioned).

To fit them on, place the wheels in the freezer (for a while) and put the tires in water that just boiled.
Quickly take one wheel out of the freezer, take one tire out of the hot water. Put the tire down and quickly press the wheel into the tire. Make sure you do this within about 10 seconds and make sure it's seated correctly.
After this, you can't get them of again (easily).
If you're not quick enough, you won't get it on far enough.

I've already done 16 wheels like this and it all worked right away. Only the first one is difficult, but once you know how to do it, it's really easy.

Also remember that these drift tires are more like plastic than rubber. But they are great for drifting.
