i know it says 2.2 wheels but what is the overall size of the tires? height width? i think proline mashers would be awesome on this truck or even the rock crawling tires

i imagine they some where near the same size as the merv tires.
rustler vxl 2.4
They look to me to be around alomost 4 inches tall![]()
Vxl Slash
Xerun E-Maxx
HT Aftershock
IMO Mashers would be too big and not look right. I have mounted up 4" tires like Gladiators to my MERV and thy even look a little goofy because they are so big, Mashers would be even worse.
BlindMan Racing
Rusty - MERV - Pede 4x4-QR-1
SPC Lipo Power
i run 4" on my merv and love them but mashers would be just way to big
1/16 revo
slash 4x4
some more but they wont fit
Weird thing is, it looks like the whole truck is lifted somehow... there seems to be crazy preload thats keeping it raised up. So even if we managed to put the crazy tires on our mervs and get taller body posts, it looks like the whole chassis would sit too low.
If traxxas keeps this up i'm gonna become 1/16 obsessed and buy them all lol these look great!
Mini Summit / Rally
the mini summit stands higher cause of its long travel rockers.

slash 4x4
some more but they wont fit
i had a set of mashers for my jato and sized them up on the merv before selling the jato. the mashers are too big for the merv. they were almost to big for the 1/10 jato. anyone got any nice sized crawler wheel/tire suggestions that fit nicely on the merv?
proline just came out wit a new street tire that would be awesome if you wanted to convert it to a street beast
This is my Merv(soon to be Summit) with proline Dirt Hawg 2 tires(4.32" tall) on Jconcepts tense wheels. here is a link to the tires I think these tires were too big on the MERV, they completely rattled the suspension loose on my gravel driveway, but I am hoping for better results with the LT rockers.

I have never tried LiPo in it just the 6 cell Nimh's, It was my sons truck, but it broke every time he ran it so I got him an Emaxx. Now that I will be able to get the LT rockers it will be getting some Lipo's if I like it, heck maybe even a novak sensored system.
I have a Jconcepts Illusion body sitting on the shelf I will have a reason to paint it now. I actually wish I could find a 1/16th Silverado body then i could make it a "Mini Sumbot"

rock crawling tires would be cool on the mini summit
This thread just gave me this thought... Would the mini Summit wheels/tires work/ look right on a Rustler? they look to be about the size of a rustler tire.
