    Started on the Platinum Edition

I just won on ebay a full set of blue aluminum castors and carriers, a centre diff and a set of big bores off a Platinum 4X4 from an ebay chop shop...

Not sure what else a platinum would have, ive got blue wheel nuts already... Im going to do a TRX Blue aluminum motor mount and the HD drive shaft end piece as well... But its under way now... oohhhhhh excited.

Just got a clear gear cover and Hot Racing heat sink motor mount... I have a set of brand new proline 30 series torque wheels and badlands tires not even glued up to go on and a new hummer SUT body and Proline Cavaleri edition T4 body... things are coming together.

Keep us updated, I think I'm leaning back towards the slash 4x4 bc the pede 4x4 looks super akward with the body so high

Thats the beauty of the pede... simply lowering the body makes all the difference in the world. But go with what you like best. It only has to please YOU... right!

Yeah I geuss, I like the sc look but I would also like a mt that I can use everyday that only takes 1 batt compared to the 2 in my maxx. I like the stock pede body, It just sits way to high

bah, like Pave said, it takes a little less than nothing to lower the body down to how ever you like it. I admit, I think all versions of the stock pede body looks a little, off, due to how high it sits lol.

I bought a Slash PE I think the day the 4x Pede was announced. lol, leave it to me and my great timing. But I'm even more confident in my choice now, because if I don't like the slash setup, it looks like I'm going to be able to convert to a pede for not much money. So either way, I WIN! haha

You can also fit pretty much any proline body for a revo or maxx on a slash 4X4 chassis with some body mount modifications. I had a slipstream body mounted on a 2X4 slash and it fit perfectly between the bumpers. Along with some MT wheels and tires youd have a nice looking MT 4X4... but it would still be bigger than a pede... which is why I love the pede... perfect size for me.

Gonna use the stock rear and the RPM 4X4 front bumper... I usually use a lowered body (stadium truck style) and I move them about 3/4 - 1 inch forward compared to the stock body, with the bumper so tight to the stock body I dont think its possible to move it forward at all, so the slash bumper will do fine.

I also just bought the King Headz aluminum motor mount with the oversized bearing. Im hoping this, along with the aluminum bearing slipper shaft bearing adapter, will help keep the bearing issues at bay.

Only thing left to buy now is the MMP ESC... I think I have the rest of the stuff I need for this build.
