It kinda looks more toy-like, because the mustang is usually longer.
    I dont like it.
the fiesta on the other hand...

I love Mustangs and I would have to agree. Maybe the pic isn't doing it justice; but it does look toyish. The front does look pretty aggressive, though I may end up going for the Ken Block Rally.

    @RcJoe, Agreed.

It just doesn't look very aggressive and it doesn't look to have the "hair," that the real beast has. Maybe a darker red, tinted windows (black), longer body, hood scoop, and throw a SVT Cobra logo somewhere.

I like the body, but there seems to be something about it that's not quite right.

It's not a very good picture, though. The photographer needs a lesson in aperture.

No matter what you do to it, a true muscle car will always be a muscle car...
unless of course the proportions get all messed up.

wrong mustang. i think it's based on the new one

... now with both images like this, i can see that the wheelbase is the issue - the chibbi traxxas mustang is too short, and as a consequence, too wide.

should have been solved by traxxas making extended a arms for the fronts and rear... unless this is just a prototype, or something.

The Pink one is a 1970-71 AAR 'Cuda

The Traxxas Mustang Boss 302 is based on the new 2010 Mustang Boss 302

So the next Traxxas Mustang is ??

The difference is in the front of the car, specifically the grill. The challengers is all open like that, whereas the cuda and baracuda have a line splitting the grill into two sections. Also, look at the hood. The cuda has two "nostrils" I guess you could call them on top of the hood, even when a shaker hood is involved, but in different locations. There are more differences, but the nose really sold it to me. I grew up with a mopar nut as a dad and as they say "The apple doesnt fall far from the tree"

Anyways, I REALLY hope they change the mustang body to look more aggressive. Don't tell my dad, but I like the new mustang body lines. Currently as those pictures show the Traxxas vehicle, it looks like a cross between like a camry and a mustang

I thought muscle cars were supposed to look mean? Not like a pushover

Eww... those body kitted mustangs really don't look nice, in my opinion. The new ones look brutish enough, they don't need frilly skirts and more nostrils and (ugh) spoilers

Maybe I'm a traditionalist at heart.

that is a poor photoshop of an eleanor. looks like it was partially merged with a last gen charger frontend.

I'm a diehard mustang fan, and I'm just glad they did one.

hood length is wrong, and also suppose to comeover the grille. bumper overhang is short. and not enough grille inset. poor job.

The Cuda is made by Plymouth and the AAR is the same style car but Plymoth used a differant style stripe on the side of them. Those also are worth a MINT!!
