After painting my buddy's Shamrock/Transformers stampede and my daughter's Music Bug Stampede, another friend asked me to paint him a military style 57 Chevy for his Stampede 4x4. He is an avid Call of Duty fan and only asked for a helmet image and the white star. I loaded him up with skulls, bullet holes, Call of Duty logos and Cover images as well as his screen name Corbin and military serial stencils. Hope you like it.

Alright here is my Stampede converted to Rustler 4x4. Two different bodies I made. It has a Duratrax Element 3900kv system by Castle. Team Orion 4600 30c 2s Lipo hard case. A few STRC aluminum upgrades including the motor plate and mount, 12mm hexes and shock caps. Front and rear braces are from HR. Proline Bowtie tires and Torque wheels. 14 tooth pinion stock spur. Runs about 130 degrees on the road. I have a set of Jato anaconda's for it also but I can tell you they do not hook up well at all! Bowties work much better.

Mazda Miata Stampede 4x4
My latest addition. What I think may be the first ever Mazda Miata Stampede 4x4! I went with a lightning & carbon fiber theme. Turned out okay. I did have some problems with airbrushing some of the lightning, but am thinking I may need to go with thinner lacquer based paints next time. The faskolor paints just don't seem to want to give me that thin line I am looking for without spidering. Oh well. Hope you enjoy these pics.

Just got my Proline Raptor body done and lowered my body.
Any one wanting to lower the body, look up the E-Maxx battery hold down kit. It has 4 battery posts with it and is only ~$8
Next... new wheels and tires.

Aside from R/C Cars, my other passion is my workouts, so this time I thought I would pay homage to the workouts I've done over the past couple of years. I have completed P90X, Insanity, Insanity:The Asylum and now P90X2. I decided to do a Beachbody themed paint job on my Proline F150 SVT Raptor. Enjoy Tony Horton, Shaun T. and Carl Daikeler!

This is my first attempt at painting a lexan body. Plenty of lessons learned. I rate this a 5 on my cuss scale...how many times I cussed while completing this project. Let me know what you think!
