    Baja Bug with 1/8 wing?

I'm gonna get the STRC Slash LCG kit for my Rusty and do either a backbajr or a Baja Bug. I was thinking maybe I'll do up a bug with an 1/8 scale wing. Has anyone seen it done? Pics? I think it will look really cool or really crappy lol

    Thanks,
    Frankie

I'm not sure if its too big or just out of place on a bug. The backbajr is awesome but the bug is cool too. So many choices lol

I think the baja bug would look perfect with a 1/10 touring car wing like this: http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/85197/ Give it something like a racing but look i guess
I'm currently using one on my rustler, IMO the size is perfect.

The 1/8 wings are much beefier.

Well unless you plan to use it as a wheelie bar or a landing cushion, it will hold up just fine Mine has anyway.

My tc wing on my bandit shredded first time it blew over @50. Just couldn't imagine what it would do on a bigger vehicle at least 1-2 lb heavier. I will stick with a stronger, less flimsy setup.

I've never been able to do much more than bend mine
It was a nylon-plastic (whatever it's called) wing, not lexan, correct?

I've never been a big fan of buggy wheels..but seeing your Bug bodied Slash with them change my mind. I like the narrow-ish look of the buggy wheels, they look so good with the Bug..especially the 2nd pic of the blue one from the front.

Ive never been a fan of buggy wheels cuz IMO, they're useless on a 2WD. They dont provide enough traction cuz they're too narrow. I had a set of buggy badlands on my Rusty and they were a waste of money.

buggy badlands are great on loose dirt, sand, bark chips, GRASS, and mud! they also arent much more narrow than your standard 2.2. they also dont balloon at all.
    imho, of course.

The buggies are almost similar in width to SC sized tires right, only a tad taller?
What I do love about buggies, also as with newer SC pin tires, is their rounded shoulder profile which provides consistant grip regardless of camber changes during hard cornering and chassis rolls. Works well on rutted tracks too as the tires have less tendency to 'catch' on ruts and flip the truck.

I could never go WOT with the badlands, no matter what I was running them on. They worked better in the grass than any other terrain but I couldnt go wide open
