    Better mount?

Looking at the rest of the goodies i need to complete the E-conversion im working on.
One of the last things i need to buy now is the conversion kit, which one works better, any pro's or con's of each?

I know of the RC Monster one and the Tekno Conversion.
    Any more to look at?

    Hey Cam.
You know I am using the Tekno kit and so far so good. The only real downside I can see is that it limits the motors you use to the CC 15 series (not that you will need to run something like a monster 1717 or the likes) and gearing options are looking likely to be a bit less than if you go with the RC Monster mount. I am running 17/36 right now and there isn't a whole lot of room left for a larger pinion. I do have a 18, 19 and 20t pinion on order form A Main but it will be a couple weels before that gets here so I can do some experimenting. I don't think that will be a huge concern seeing you will be running a 1515 2200kv (BTW I will get it sent out tomorrow for you). The nice thing about the Tekno kit is that you get absolutely everything you need to get you going. I think Divey1130 is using the RC Monster mount. He will be able to let you know a bit more about how it has been for him.

Yes I use the RC-Monster mount and it works great. Fits all types of motors and gearing up to a 25 tooth pinion. I believe the mount is like 35$ or less. Then I went with Tekno for the rest. It would cost under 100$ to make it electric. That does not include upgrading diffs or gears tho. I would get the Tekno battery tray, Tekno straps, RC-Monster motor mount, and Tekno ESC mount. The ESC mount is mounted on top of the tranny so it is kinda in a danger zone but people have mounted in the rear or in front of the tranny with aluminum or carbon fiber. I have mine mounted on top with the roll bar installed. I still run the revo 3.3 diffs and so far so good. Once they go then I will get the e-revo one's. Also you'll need a plate from Oomp here to lock second gear. Most lock with standard ratio gear set. Other than that it is real simple to do in less than a day. Any other info you need let me know.

i have my e-revo diffs, the trans is locked in std 2nd with oomps plate as well.
i like the upfront price on the rc monster but then you're adding all the extra, i might just pick up the tekno conversion and save buying stuff from 2 places, i really don't see myself going any bigger on the motor end of things, im sure the 2200kv on 5s will be just fine for me haha.
