Well, my 3rd pair of stock driveshafts is starting to get all ovaled out again, so I have been looking through the same old stuff to try and decide if I should just buy more stock, or get some alloy ones.
The only new contender is the Venom ones, which I must say are very inexpensive. There is only one problem:
"NOTE: Requires Aluminum Rear Shock Tower # 4130O, 4130R, or 4130GM to work properly. Will not work properly with stock rear shock tower. "
does anybody know why this is posted on the steel shafts from venom?
if it is only because of some type of interference, then I could probably just cut the interfering plastic off if it is not too important.
that is a serious design flaw if it will only truly work with the aluminum tower. but something inside me thinks this is just a way to get more money from people with disposable income.
and does anyone have any comments like "oh those are worse than stock" or something constructive like such.
