nobody in the uk, yet. the car itself won't start shipping till the 11th, and modelsport uk won't see the ready to run version until the 29th.

Just buy a Slash VXL, change the body, the wheels, piston valves/springs, silicon oils, and front bumper and you're done... It's a no brainer...

sure is. It actually might not be do to wheel offset (or lack of), but the a arms are the same

great except that I think the slash vxl does not have 2.4ghz

Compare the exploded views of each; then you'll see how similar they are.

The rally is based on the Slash 1 16, they will share the same parts, with the exception of course, tires, gtr shocks, body, bumpers, heavier oil on diff. About the 2.4ghz you can upgrade the old system, by the time you convert the slash to rally you will end expending more than the new rally.

^then it should stand to reason that the fun would also apply if you bought a rally and bought parts to turn it into a slash

Sure!

But, he can have fun with the Slash while he waits for the Rally and then have fun with both of them! He can also buy the parts for an E-Revo and triple the fun... Hahahaha...

I was thinking the same thing.
Winter is coming, and I dont race at all, especially indoors.
I want to get a mini slash now, have a blast in the snow, maybe get some paddles, and spare diffs

and then once spring hits, convert the little sucker over, and tear it up.

Unless you already have a decked slash and just want the body, mounts, and bumper to turn your slash into an offroad rally car

That's what I'll be doing.
