Strange Shutoffs

Does it seem to rev up before it shuts down? It may be air bubbles in the fuel line. Make sure that the fuel line to the carb is good, and make sure that the line from the pipe isn't too short and making your fuel tank all foamy.

Try a new glow plug if its old.
Also, if you have ran about a gallon through it, it might be due for rebuild.

How does the engin start(easy, good, bad,) and for the five minutes how does itrun answer these questions and i'll help you. If myb from a distructed bearing in the cluch bell. When it start's to heat up it siezes then grabs the crank shaft and stops the the engine

Ok the engine starts with no problem. It runs very well during the 5 minutes but when it shuts down it, you would think there wasn't any fuel but there is.

My engine on the 4-TEC turns on for about 5 minutes and then mysteriously shutoffs. I know it is not fuel. Could it be that the engine or something got wet when i drove my car on a wet surface.
