    Aluminum Center/Slipper Cover!

    Finally a real fix!!!

    Here's a pic:

My only gripe about this mod is now I don't have anything left to do to my 4X4.

If I am seeing the fix correctly, doesnt the newest revision by Traxxas to the drive-shaft cover already address this issue? If so, the cover is only a few bucks from Traxxas and no custom fabricating, modding, or tinkering necessary.

Oh yes without a doubt but if you plan on running a slipper clutch with easy access then this is your fix. I own the new updated part as well and it is a pain just to adjust your slipper.

Oh, ok now I see why you use that! I didnt really see any advantage of it over the newest Traxxas cover until you just mentioned that. Thanks.

Like El Sob said, the newest revision drive shaft covers kept the same part number as the covers before the revision. I personally do not like that since that creates confusion when ordering covers since the old and new are the same exact number. But a solution to that would be buying directly from Traxxas who sell only the newest revisions of the cover to anyone who orders from them.

Not entirely true. It would be a good idea when you actually make the order to have someone personally make sure their sending you the right one's. This problem was discussed in another thread by the way.
