illuzion overtray

Has anyone tried an illuzion overtray on a 2wd slash with a VXL-3s and a protrac kit?

Just curious on the fitment with the esc wires and installing a center body mount for the overtray. Also, is there a fitment solution without cutting the top out for the VXL?

You need to cut the top out to have it work with a VXL (just where the ESC mounts)
Also, the protrac shock tower has no body mount (as you said) so when your trimming the chassis cover, leave a bit of extra material on the bottom at the back as it seemed to me the cover sat up a bit higher with the protrac kit. The other thing you could do (and what I would suggest) would be to use velcro on the back side of the chassis (in front of the rear wheels) to hold the cover on. it will give a more precise, tighter fit.
Just some thoughts.
