Doing research on what Lipo's I want to buy. What is the ideal set-up as far as ratings go. I have been looking at Venom and the ******* ********** batteries. I know this topic has been beat to death but I am a nitro guy stepping into the brushless world. Never had a boat or a brushless motor. I have several Revo's that are Nitro. Would this work well with the Titan?

Not from them you can't. You can get some with knockoff, i.e. illegal, connectors that bear a superficial resemblance to Traxxas connectors. Which is why, H2Doberman, you cannot post a link to them. Originally Posted by filmmaker

really does not matter to me
I use 5.5mm bullets on everything I own, and most of my packs are 8-gauge wire and the Traxxas connectors dont work with that big of wire
and the 5.5's flow more current

I'v never used 5.5's. I've soldered up 4's and CC's 6.5's though. If the 5.5's you use are anything like the 6.5's, then.

Just out of curiosity, why bullets? Is it that much better than a TRX connector (a REAL TRX connector)?
Would it be worth doing this on trucks and cars too or do they not draw enough amps for it to matter?Pede, Summit,
