    Name : Summit
motor : MMM 2200 or 18v Craftsman depending on season
ESC : MMM or EVX 2
    Spur/pinion : varies
Batts : 2S 5000mah lipo in series or Pro Match 4600 7 cell packs depending on running conditions
speeds : too fast with BL/lipo and not fast enough stock
    Run time :30ish min
WHEELS/TIRES : RC4WD Rok Lox on Axial Rockster beadlocks or Moab XL
    BODY : stock
    Suspension : Stock long travel
    Radio sys : TQ4 2.4
    # of lights : stock + light bar wired to it's own battery mounted under the body to make it easy to put on/off

Bolt ons : Led light bar, RPM bumpers front and rear, RPM Front arms, Hitec 7980th single servo (600oz!!!!), Hanger 9 servo arm, CC BEC, Chargery BM6 LVA when running lipo+EVX-2, Proline aluminum single servo arm, HD servo saver spring,

Custom : aluminum battery mount for the lightbar battery....ahhh the benifits of being a machinist , brass insert hub mod,

Comments : I got mine last winter and drove it almost daily in the snow. Once spring hit the truck got kind of boring due to the slow speed except when playing on the crawling course I've built. Putting the MMM 2200 in it this summer changed that, although it's a bit much for this chassis on 4s IMO......still lots of fun! It's always my first choice when grabbing a truck to take on trips with me due to its versatility. I love the Rok Lox and I also have some Moab XLs to try out one of these days. The 7980TH is awesome for turning the huge Rok Lox and is able to keep them where I want them when crawling....600oz FTW! It is my second favorite RC out of the seven I currently own (next to my 8ight-B) and while others will come and go, this one will always be in my fleet. I'm actually dreading taking the MMM and 7980th servo out to put it back to stock for winter duties, but I'm not gonna risk wrecking $400 worth of electronics playing in the snow

Playing in the snow last winter.

You could probably leave it just the way it is, both the MMM and 7980 are water "resistant" and should be good enough for snow as long as you blow it out with compressed air after snow running. Even castle said that to me in an email.

Name : summit that's going to be a raptor soon
motor : very old run out on last leg titan 775 with rust!
ESC : evx-2 that hates going in reverse when wet
    Spur/pinion : stock
    Batts : 2x 2s 25c dynamite 9000mah lipo's
    speeds : 35 ish kmh
Run time : till my fingers turn to ice, I've never actualy drained the batteries competely yet but it's some where in the 1 and a half hour bashing/crawling place
WHEELS/TIRES : stock! oh, but they have chain tires on them, they work awesome! and I have some axial beadlocks that are waiting for some mudslingers
BODY : stock! but I have a revo 3.3 raptor body on order will post up how that goes
    Suspension : Stock long travel
Radio sys : ye ol' TQ4 channel 5 radio with some duct tape for waterproofing, had it out in the rain once and it started acting up so I water proofed it
    # of lights : 6 in back, 4 in front and 4 on the top(just bought and installed today)

Bolt ons : Led light bar, novak LVC and noname LVA

Custom : this is where the fun begins bought 24 feet of chain from RONA and got funny looks carrying 24 feet of chain through RONA, made my own battery holders because my lipo's are just to wide to fit right with left over chain(only had 7 links left over), waterproofed lipos with duct tape then that started to wear so wraped it in hockey tape (now my favorite tape) then it wouldn't go in the battery compartment because the hockey tape was to abbrasive so it also has scottch tape, waterproofed novak LVC with electrical tape and duct tape

Comments : the chain tires work really well in snow that's hardly compacted like big snow hills, they are a lot easier to make then you think, also I now know that the top light bar helps with crawling some how. also I'v been meaning to say this for a while so TRAXXAS please make a heated controller for people who want to drive their summit in -20C or lower please and I'v raised the body to it's highest position because it looks cool, also I wired up the LVC through the balencer plug on the battery

I really don't have anything to brag about with my Summit. I took the Tekin out about a month ago. But I like to pride myself on the fact that I know how to drive my truck quite well. If I do say so myself.
Why can't other people share my opinions?

    Name: Trailtruck
    Motor: 14.4 Dewalt
    ESC: stock w/ LVC
    Spur/Pinion: 14/56
    Batts: 7.4 2s 8200mah SPC Racing
    Wheels/Tires: Axial narrow Rocksters/ RC4WD Baja Claws
    Body: Stock, green
Suspension: LT rockers Extended rear arms and RPMs in the front. Aluminum pushrods and toe links.
Drivetrain: MIP cvd, regreased diffs and tranny. Stock center driveshafts to "shim out" the pinions for proper mesh. Tranny modified to take out shifting collar play, (pressed in some rollpins). Still kept the 2 speed, but disconnected the shifting solenoid and put the rear locking diff in channel 3. Now I have independent front and rear locking diffs. If I want to go faster than crawling/trailing speed, I just shift it into 2nd, manually.
Steering: Four wheel steering using a Revo/Summit steering linkage attached to a Hitec 7950TH, front and rear. No bumpsteer. Custom mounting bracket attached to the bumper brackets.
Chassis: All parts dyed black with Rit dye. Riveted on custom aluminum skid plates to the bottom. Lowered body and using a Revo 3.3 front bumper mount and custom rear bumper mount attached to the rear steering bracket.
    Pictures to come later.

Not done with it, but being new to this in this day in age am having to do a lot of digging to see if I can do what I want or even if its possible. Full skid plate system on the bottom, Axial wheels w/PL Moab 40's, (do have a set of trenchers also but right now prefer the moabs)running 64/14 gearing right now, have a few more spur gears coming as well as 10,9,8 pinon gears. As you can see I am not going for speed my Pede 4x4 is for that. Started off with one HS7950TH and wheels would not come all the way back to center from either direction....SOo am now running two. Also Hot Racing's Silver alum. steering assemble along with Protek 4mm Alum Servo Horns. That is not all the mods but can not remember them all right now, those memory lapses get worse after 50
OK enough of the chit chat on with the some what bad pics.

With two Hitech servo's wire way was getting a little crowded so ran some of them threw the battery compartment vent (no it does not affect the battery going in) Wire draped over the vent is to the light on the body.

Light switch...do not like having control over them as I see no sense in them being on all the time.

First try and pin stripping and cheated, tis automotive pin stripping.

This shows that it is not just plain white, can't remember but have about 3 other colors besides white, and interior is coated with Bedliner spray paint.

Less than 15 min and can be running this, which I am not totally done with, but is good enough for the grand kid to try and tear up

Last pic they really show up and was wondering what a mix of colors on the beadlocks would look like....what ya think, tis a silver, black mix on the front tire. Only had enough screws just for that wheel.
