Next to RCs, I enjoy playing my Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3 in my spare time. Call of Duty series is one of my favorites. Modern Warfare 2 especially.

yea i am but i got bored of call of duty..its pretty much like the new halo everybody is playing it none stop and every body is like its the greatest game ever..dont get me wrong it was a good game but i couldnt play it after a week..but i found battlefiled bad company 2 and fell in love with it..its a great game a better game then mw2..but thats my 2 cents

I don't like the multiplayer on Black Ops, it looks like it's designed for 8 year olds. The campaign looks good though.

I just hope this one will use Steam again.

Have you guys played **** Zombie mode on COD:waw? Its a blast to see how long you can last with a few friends online or even split screen. There is a whole lot of strategy involved and being able to use all the big guns and upgrade them is very cool. Also makes for great target practice!

I can't stand the Cod series anymore. I still like the first modern warfare but with these recent incarnations theres no skill involved. Get 5 kills then run and hide as the ai gets 20 more kills and then a nuke gets set off. Its like playing a first person shooter in an arcade. And I cant figure out if waw zombies is either a blatant rip off or a compliment to horde in Gears of War 2.

+1000. The frostbite engine is AMAZING. Blowing everything up and watching it crumble to the ground with rich detail is soooo satisfying. They also did a great job on the sound effects, digital surround sound is quite an experience. It plays great, too. All the classes feel just right. The gameplay seems balanced for the most part, and is a lot of fun. People really sort of overlooked this one, I've been hooked since the PS3 exclusive beta.

Im pretty sure the frostbite is the same one for the medal of honor game also? That mutliplayer looks the same and doesnt look that good to me. At least the beta didnt all. But ill still be getting it for the single player. Thats kinda cool its gonna be a little rc with it! But i think im looking foward to Halo reach!

I was a fan of this series until I played M.A.G. on the ps3 after that I got rid of MW2 i will buy Black Ops for the single player mode though.

yeah, after modern warfare (cod4) the series started to die. Dont get me wrong, Black ops looks decent, Ill probably buy it. But for shooters, bfbc2 is the way to go. Just saying.

and for mw2 that guy is right there is no skill all u have to do is point and push the button

I would have to agree. I own all the COD games up to that one. That was the last one I bought, though.

FPS games seem to be the most dominant genre, but I'm not going to buy every game in the series, no matter how good they are.

I enjoy the WaW zombies, but other than that I'm not a huge fan, there doesn't seem to be much skill required... I am however looking forward to mafia 2. I can only hope that it is as good as the first!

It didn't die, probably 2x the people play MW2 vs. MW.
I unfortunately do not like the ones Treyarch puts out, so far .

I think he meant the quality started to die not its popularity. My final feeling is that MW2 was full of glitches and hackers and Infinity Ward / Activision was far too busy counting the billion it made to care. And since its Treyarch who is kinda known for being the glitchier producer of the Cod series......ya'll can have it.
