Did you remove all of the various clips, spacers, and tabs from the inside of the compartment? If so, you are out of luck, unless you want to dremel/hack up your chassis but its really just not too practical.

Battery tray dimensions are posted in the erevo faq- did you check there before ordering?

I'd suggest returning the lipos for something that will fit ( you dont need hard case lipos with the erevo- it already has a sealed compartment to protect the lipos ), or maybe remove the hardcase & put some extra shrink over the cells... assuming the 5300mah capacity isn making them too large still ( 3s 5000mah is barely small enough to fit at the best of times )...

I am going to return them. Or talk to the my LHS see what he figures. I only opened up 1 package, and he's pretty good about stuff so I don't see a problem returning them. Yeah i didn't check the faq about battery size. I did now. I figured that he would know if it would fit or not since he sells them.

I do actually think if I took the hard case off it might fit actually. Just a bummer when I found out that the 3s wouldnt fit.

Yeah I removed the clips and stuff in side the case. the actual 3s hard case battery is just so large it would break the revo plastic to try to fit it in. its probely 6mm too high.

Pro tip: Never ask an LHS for advice, just get your parts there- they will sell you any old junk or over-priced poor seller in order to make a sale/ clear old & unpopular stock. Worked that one out over a decade ago...
