    Gearing for PL Titus

Looking to upgrade to the PL Titus beadlocks & wanted to know what gearing I should go with. Will probably go with the RoadRages or Dirt Hawgs. I know it is added weight and really don't want to fry my ESC.

When I was running the Titus/Dirt Hawg combo gearing of 23/50 kept my temps in check but I used 21/50 to TRY and get some of the punch back that the weight of the rims stole. It never was as snappy or punchy with the Titus rims as it was before them. I now run the Traxxas dish rims with the Dirt Hawg tires geared 23/50 and all is good on 2s lipo.

I didn't like the beadlocks they're so heavy it's extra stress I've ripped the steering toe link out with them. And they are wide. I tossed them aside and use the with traxxas rims now 7171

+1 i sold my titus wheels shortly after i got them, they were way too heavy. i was also extremely unimpressed with the performance of the dirt hawgs on everything BUT pavement.. go figure.

    Thanks for the Info.

Looks like it will be the TRX 7171! Really didn't want to open up rear diff anyway! Did it yesterday to shim it and it was a bit stressful being the first time. Sure it is easier the next time. If the Dirt Hawg preformed well on pavement that's a bonus as the MERV only really see pavement anyway. Thanks for all the input

    Is that a single 2s or 2 x 2s in parallel?
