SLASHING UP WITH MY PEDE
Slayer. Its 4wd Nitro Slash is 2wd
Drive. Crash. Fix. Repeat.
is there i specific reason why four is better???
SLASHING UP WITH MY PEDE
more control. Better acceleration. better grip.
Drive. Crash. Fix. Repeat.
2wd and 4wd are fun, 2wd takes a different skill to drive than 4wd and vice versa, 2wd easier to maintain and work on, 4wd more complicated to work on but in the end wrenching on any car will be easy after you get used to it

i had many problems with my slayer in the past. i bought it used and i dont think he broke it in right. could that cause problems
SLASHING UP WITH MY PEDE
Yes when you break in the nitro it should be running rich rich rich, lots white smoke if not it could mess with the performance or even toast the engine
Slash 2wd
TLR Ten-SCTE 2.0
So is that a possible problem I had
SLASHING UP WITH MY PEDE
Well what issues are you having with the truck, I just know when you break in a nitro it should be ran really rich for example excessive white smoke and spitting fuel out of the pipe, then after a few tanks you slowly lean the mixture but you never want to run to lean even after it's broken in completely, every time you drive a nitro there should be a trail of white smoke coming from the pipe

TLR Ten-SCTE 2.0
Well I have gears breaking carb stripping and leaks cant get it tune and it wouldn't stay running glow plug issues
SLASHING UP WITH MY PEDE
Improper break in can cause premature wear, too much stress on the internals to create a failure down the road...
Most times though, it's usually poor tuning that causes most of these failures.
I avoid buying used engines, if buying a used RC, consider the engine toast when pricing... Unless you are able to take it for a test run and using at least 1.2 a tank of fuel to make sure it's OK.![]()

alright what do u think the nitronaught slash or slayer
SLASHING UP WITH MY PEDE
Slayer. They both have the same engine, so just break it right, and take your time. That way you won't have issues.I have the Slayer, and I love mine. It's great!
