    Exclamation Integy Turnbuckes help!

    sooo i was on the bay hunting some, deals found a set of integy turn buckes and pushrods. bought em 18 bucks for both soo it was a deal (from the toyz) now i know people dont like integy. but i have read anything bad or good about the pushrods and turn buckles sooo. push rods went on fine but the turnbuckles fine on the back but sligt problem can you spot it?

    The one end doesn't go in to the steering lever. anyone have a solution?

    put the screw in it and install it, and if you are talking about the screws being 90* from each other, rotate the end until it is in that orientation

    Pop the insert out of the stock and put it in the integy one...

    the screw comes out of the hollow ball

    I've found the hollow ball and screw come out easier together lol. Pop pop pop you're done. But if the screw comes out easy for you props.

    soo on the right side of the original part the screw part seperates from the ball part? (the part in the bottom right side of the pic) becacause they look like one peice me.

    and i cant just swap the balls the integy ones are bigger.

    yes, that screw comes out

    i bought the gpm turnbuckles and had heard that the screw they came with sucked, so i popped the screw out of the hallow ball and reused the screw with my new turnbuckles

    they are not 1 solid piece, they seperate

    ok im not doubting you. but do u have anymore info on how to sperate the red section from the blue section besides push on them or more indef cus i tried pushing on all sorts of places in all sorts direction with no luck

    i grabbed the bottom of the ball with a pair of needlenose pliers and then squeezed it with the bottom of the screw

    huh ok so we are talking bout the thing.ill thy that. i gradde the bal with plies and pused the screw into the my too bench and nothing. ohh and will if make a differnce if its a merv or a slash cus i got the slash

    wont make a difference, the screws are the same on both models

    idk i tried what u said and couldnt get em to seperate. soo when i discovered this problem i went running to the lhs but we was out of that size of just plain screws soooo hit the harware store and found some screws that were a little longer but they went in ok. im just gonna use them and put these balls in the parts bin

    yeh it will they just freak me cus there flat head soo what im goona do i take the other end of the toe rod and tread them into that steering thing (stik out the back a little) then take the new ones to attack the toe rod to the hub soo its easy to acces. flat head screws and i dont get along and never will

    the head doesnt really matter, as the screw will be tight against the hallow ball.... the ball and the heim on the rod will be the only moving part
