    front diff in 2wd?

    hey guys. if wanted to run my slash in 2wd instead of 4wd could i take out the front diff and have better results? wouldnt it make it a little lighter?

    It is answered on here a few times..... YES! Remove the front diff, all driveshafts and boom, 2wd.... You have to keep the stub axles though....

    Does it work? yes. Does it handle well? Not at all! I've tried this at our local club race a few weeks ago and it was impossible to drive. The weight distribution doesn't give enough rear traction. It IS a 4WD vehicle and was never designed to run 2WD. You can do it, but be aware it doesn't handle like a normal Slash would.
    Been there, broken that.
