test one...yes...traxxas as much as id hate to, if i were asked to test one of these bad boys i will do it for yall i guess...only yall though. lol. i mean think about it, i live on the gulf (yes, of Mexico, smells like oil) but there are plenty of lakes and rivers i could take it to to test it on that are oil free if yall twisted my arm hard enough.

One thing boats do very well is pull amps!
Most of my FE boats pull 45-50amps cont.
so with 5000mah packs I get runtimes of 4 1/2min to 5 1/2min, till my packs are down to 80%

But as a reference my villain using the evx-2 pulls about 30amps continously. And running my 5000 2s lipos I was seeing 20 minute runtimes easy, and that's running it pretty hard. I know brushless will vary from brushed motors, but it's a a comparison for now.
So personally I couldn't even give an estimate without specs seeing this is traxxas's first marine brushless system. I hope they release some specs soon.

Who cares what the run time is. If you want more run time, you can buy bigger and more batteries.

Well judging by the OP's question, I'm betting he has those batteries already. So he wanted to know based on what he already had and will be running.
Most people don't have the money to just go out and buy bigger batteries when desired.

There is NO WAY you can be running a constant 30amps and getting 20min of runtime...
30amps in 20min consumes 10,000mah of batteries!
Constant 30amps will take a 5000mah pack down to a safe zone of 80% in 8min

The esc does not pull amps, it's the motors that do..
With FE boats this is a BIG DEAL!
if your running your 5000mah packs down to a safe zone of 80% and you run a constant 20min that's only 12amps constant..
this Titan will pull some big numbers specially when some go with a much bigger prop..

Yes I realize the load is what pulls the amps. But because I have no specs of what the titans draw I was going by the esc capabiliity of 30A constant.
If you could find a spec for the 21t titans let me know because i'd love to know, and I can't check being as I won't be home for a few months.

Traxxas as far as I know, does not list the amp draw of the brushed motors..
but you are possibly looking at a constant 12amps and burst of maybe 20amps

They list the titan at putting out about 200watts at 16.8 volts.
I'm runnig dual 2s lipos so i'll be slightly less than that. But going by those numbers that converts to roughly 13.5A (so slightly less in my case).
So there ya go, makes a little more sense now with specs.

Actually 200watts/16.8v = 11.9amps
my guess was 12amps!

In series I would run a minimum of 30c
I'm going to run in paralell my 20c 5s 5000mah packs
that will give me 200A cont.

if you asking about my 5s packs they are just under 1 1/2lbs per packs
right at about 2.9lbs total for both packs running parallel

the stock batteries are 3000-3300mah so I'm not sure? possibly 4min
but depending on lipo and running a 5000mah pack down to 20% left in it
and running a constant 45amps gives you a run time of 5:33 min
