    What are MIPs?

Extremely sorry for the noob question, but I had never heard of CVDs until a few weeks ago. I have been trying to figure this out but can't.

I need it in noob language... what exactly are MIPs? They are a replacement for the sliding driveshafts, correct? Will getting these solve the problem of pushing down the suspension and not even having it come back up?

In some areas you could call me an expert. This is not one.

X1billion, and thanks for the help.

CVD stands for "constant velocity driveshaft" and they have been used for years in the front wheel drive cars. They are now very popular in the better rc race cars, especially the bigger ones like 1/5 scale!

I am sorry CraigV, madkawi650 was asking when the Traxxas CVDs would be released. Sorry that the topic of your thread changed a little.
Now that I understand the basic concept I will refer back to your thread for more information of MIPs.

Not a problem man, itís easy to get lost in the haze of posts sometimes, thatís what made me think you were concentrating on the Traxxas end of the conversation.
