Wow this guy is sure missing the point of used value, looks like he feels someone else needs to pay every penny he put in to the truck. Is that even lower than the cost of everything new? Geez man come on.... I hope he gets several offers of a reasonable price- maybe 350-400$

I've seen this strategy work quite successfully when you have a full package with everything someone needs to jump into the hobby. People with the resources are happy to overpay to be able to just jump in and go with hopups, charger, batteries and all. With that said those that would buy a roller aren't saving time or hassle by paying a significant premium so he will likely have a harder time getting what he is asking.

    Yeah....that's pretty bad.

E-Revo Rollers show up on ebay all the time, if you are thinking of getting one just wait and one will pop up.

You would have better luck parting it out.

I dont think so...I have watched RTR BL Revo's sell for 425-475 (some not in the BEST condition for that price, but still). I bought my brushless roller with servos in 98% condition for 180 shipped!

I would say if you have the time to look, shop for one around 200. If you need one asap 250-275 is reasonable if its in good shape.

I might be wrong but I think I read a thread, where they were running with one battery & a jumper on the other male plug. You can do that correct? BrianG

A 3S setup is a good setup for kids learing how to properly control the vehicle, and since most people don't have a 1 cell lipo laying around to pair it with a 2S, they'll use a single 3S with a jumper to terminate the other end.

Another setup I've seen that's pretty cool is to just have a single connector coming off the ESC and have a series and parallel adapter handy. Slap the parallel adaptor on for super long run times and the series for power.
