I would like to know what kind of life others are getting from thier receiver and transmitter batteries.
Please specify if you are using standard batteries or rechargables too.
I use 4, Everready rechargables. They get about 3 hrs of servo life. I think its about 5.5volts.

9 years of R/C racing CAN'T go wrong!
rechargeables are 1.2 volts per cell. So your pack is putting out 4.8 volts.
You'll notice faster servo response with a 6.0volt set up.
I put a trinity 5 cell rechargeable hump pack in mine and it was like upgrading it to a stronger faster servo. Very worthwile hop up. not to mention no more buying batts for the receiver....a must have hop up!!!!!
I use Sanyo's and they work pretty good. I think any batteries work good with the recievers and transmitter. But remember don't forget about changing it and let it run out of power, your car will probally be totaled. Happened to many times. I found out I was my car can go faster then me!
I highly recommend the Trinity 5 cell pack to,the difference was amazing.
How do you charge the Trinity packs?
