    reciever blinks red.....

Tonight I took it out after replacing yet another servo and It seemed to not want to throttle right. It would for a bit and then it would do nothing. I thought I should check my connections and all were good. I turned it on and the light was fast blinking red (on the receiver) and no throttle/brake, but I had tons of steering. Fast as heck. The pack battery just was charged and new batts in the transmitter just before I took it out. Messed with it for a bit and all of a sudden my green light was on. But.... after turning it back on my th/br servo was now reversed. Why did this happen? I went and reversed it back to normal and now my throttle settings are off and it is running really high because the servo is holding the carb open a little. I loosened the lock slider and readjusted it just so I could run a tank thru it and now it only has 3/4 throttle. It is like it lost all my settings after it reversed itself. I can fix this again but I just do not understand why it keeps reversing itself (and only the thr/bra servo) never the steering.

    Sounds like a faulty Transmitter.

Jclay..... I calles traxxas today and they stated exactly what you said. Thay are sending me a new transmitter. He said it seems that there is something wrong in the unit causing it to reset to factory default settings. We will see when I get the new one. Good call.

They are sending a "return core" tag to me in the box to send the old one back.
Again "Way to go Traxxas" This company never ceases to amaze me.

I agree they are tops, but when I had issues with brand new 2.4 LINK, I had to send my Tx and Rcvr to them. They then did their check, found it was the Rcvr and sent the Tx and a new Rcvr back. Problem was it took 3 weeks for all to shake down!

Actually we will be in Winter Haven for a couple days then we are not sure where from there. I am going to hepl a gentleman that I sold a Pro-Street chassis to and he is having a hard time getting it to work. So I figured I would take some time to drive there and help him out and get some r&r in while there. My brother in law lives in St. Pete so we head over the gulf area for a day or so then we were thinking of heading to Daytona to stop by Don Garlettes museum. It is really up in the air right now just going to "wing" it I guess.

Looks like about 220 miles north of you
