    How does the slipper clutch work?

    Im just wondering how it works. I find it interesting what you use it for but i have no idea how it works. Can someone explane?

    it slips under high acceleration so that you dont mess up your gears and stuff.

    Depending on how much tension you put it under. It provides slip under hard acceleration or slips when the engine/motor is turning at one speed and the tires come down from a jump and are moving at a different.
    The manual should explain it too.

    because it slips under hard strain, it saves the other cogs in your transmission - my buggy tamiya once didn't have a slipper clutch and the transmission was turned to a fine powder.
