As far as I understood, there's something he needs to do to convert from a dxf/dwg file to the format the laser machine understands... And, he forgot to do it or something like that... I'm not an expert in that area, so, I believed him...

Well, got something new today... The tires and rims...

Tires are Pro-Line BadLands for 1/8 Buggy...

Rims are X-Ray Starburst neon orange for 1/8 buggy... I like these more than the orange ones from Ofna, which I'm using on my BackSlash 4x4 project...

I also bought neon orange shock covers from BadHorsie but they are still on the mail, but think they got stuck at Customs, so, I'll have to go and pick them up next week...

A few more things... Center short driveshafts...

And, P3 aluminum red pushrods (#5319x) from the Revo... They fit like a glove at the back as turnbuckles...

The P1 aluminum red pushrods (5318x) also fit like a glove on the front as turnbuckles but they are still on the mail...

Well, got a call from the laser cut guy, the new chassis is ready and he sent it to my home, so, today at night I'll check if everything is correct now, crossing my fingers!!!

Well, good news, the new chassis is perfect!!! So, the next version will be made in aluminum!!!

This is the new chassis...

This is a comparison with a Stampede... The wheel base is exactly the same (27cm), trust me, but it doesn't look that way on the picture...

And, a few pictures...

I love it!!! Also, I got the chassis for my other two projects... I'll update them this weekend...

Well, that's not an easy question... I need a body that is 44cm long and at least 16cm width...

But, as I'm not in the US and I don't have many options locally, I have to be careful to select one that fits, I don't want to buy many bodies just to select one...

So, I'm open to suggestions... Btw, the video came out a little dark...

Well, I guess there's nothing I can do about that... I'm already using the short a-arms from the 1.5 T-Maxx and the wheels have 0 offset...

You could always cut the arms shorter and then use a small drill bit to make the pivot ball holes deeper.

If you did that you would have to find shorter turnbuckle rods too. That might be hard. A good scale RC or rc rock crawler site might have the desired length. You would want to have the rods before you cut. I've thought about doing this with my buddy truck, that is making a buggy.

turnbuckles are pretty easy to make.... just use threaded bar and the standard ends....

and i would say that shortening the arms would be nice, not sure how to go about it but im sure theres a way

Well, I had to search all around the world for those short a-arms, RPM no longer makes them and doesn't have any left, so, I wouldn't like to ruin them trying to make them shorter, but, it's a good idea...

Today, I shrunk the motor mount...

I removed 5mm all over the left side... Looks pretty nice, right?

Hey Guys, sorry for the delay in all my projects... I'm pretty busy at work and pretty tired too... With a little luck I'll be getting the aluminum sheets next week so I can send them to the CNC guy to cut the chassis... I'm delayed only, I'm not quitting these projects... Be patience please...
