I dyed a spare chassis with the RIT Royal Blue also, I agree, came out REALLY well. I still need to put it on, but I'm waiting until I get my new servo so I can just do all of that at one time. I'm still yet to see a Red one done well. I was thinking it might actually work if someone mixed the Red dye with Yellow Dye and make an Orange chassis. My guess is that since the chassis is grey, they'd have to use much more yellow than red or it'll come out too dark...hmmm...thoughts, nah don't feel like buying another chassis to experiment on lol

Any pics? Maybe some of us will like the way red turned out.

It's a pity RPM isn't selling white parts these days, there's not all that much on the Slash 4x4 that can be dyed.

Thanks for the pics akesj1. The red looks sort of like a light brick color. I agree, not my color! The other two look really nice.

Maybe dipping the red one in some black for a little while would help?

Have you run you ******* 3s 5800mAh pack in anything heavier than a Slash 4x4?

Has anyone done Green? I've got a friend that runs a green body and he was talking about dying his chassis green. I'm sure it'll come out pretty dark, but I don't see why it wouldn't look pretty good. Also, has anyone tried mixing say Yellow and Red to get an orange?
