Couple things if you dont mind...

Hey guys, I finally got around to installing my HR Knuckles and now when I turn my wheels all the way to the left (or right, I really dont remember) it clicks, like its trying to go farther than its capable of. I have not done any type of troubleshooting on it yet, but I am at work now bored and just thought I would ask if anyone has any tips on what to check first.

I also had to replace my rear diff, the only thing I had questioned is if i need to put any type of lubrication on the gear, I know there is some on the inside, but do need to add some to where the differential's teeth meets the small gear (is that the pinion?)

I also noticed something else, I had replaced the a-arms with the RPM ones a few weeks ago and didnt notice this problem before but since then I have pretty much totally dismantled and reassembled my truck. Im not sure of the correct part name, but the black rod that turns the rear wheels is rubbing on my A-Arm, on both sides. Lets assume for a second that my A-Arms on on right (ill double check tonight, but I think they are) is there an adjustment for this?

I bought the GTR shocks and Progressive springs, I have not installed them yet, Ive done a few searches to see if this was answered before but all I could find is someone stating that they run the black ones in the rear, that leaves me with the purple or blue ones in the front? For track racing. And I see a lot people running black in the front tan in the rear, are black progressive springs different than, I dunno, the more common black springs?

Anyway if someone is bored and have any suggestions I would really appreciate it, I would love to hit the track this weekend.

When I take mine apart, I usually just use a small amount of 10k Differential Oil to lubricate it, and I've had no issues with it. Also, that small gear is called the pinion.

If it's rubbing, then it is very likely installed upside-down. There isn't an adjustment for that.

As for your other questions, I'm sure there are other people more qualified to answer than myself. I've not dabbled in suspension tuning and the like because I mostly just use my MERV as a basher.

Most people run the traxxas black and tan springs, which work fine for me. Not sure about the progressive. As far as the diff, get some losi high pressure black grease. Works great for me.

dont use the progressive springs, the suspension geometry is already a progressive set up (read the rockers!). if you use progressive springs then the handling will be very unpredictable.

If your arms were on upside down the geometry for your driveshafts would have been wrong - try it with them the right way up ;0)

I also put my rpm A arms backwards and had the clicking. I reassembled and still had the clicking, turned out to be the actual servo gears they were stripped on one side. Disconnect your servo horn and try turning it to see if you still get the clicking.
