Hey guys, I finally got around to installing my HR Knuckles and now when I turn my wheels all the way to the left (or right, I really dont remember) it clicks, like its trying to go farther than its capable of. I have not done any type of troubleshooting on it yet, but I am at work now bored and just thought I would ask if anyone has any tips on what to check first.
I also had to replace my rear diff, the only thing I had questioned is if i need to put any type of lubrication on the gear, I know there is some on the inside, but do need to add some to where the differential's teeth meets the small gear (is that the pinion?)
I also noticed something else, I had replaced the a-arms with the RPM ones a few weeks ago and didnt notice this problem before but since then I have pretty much totally dismantled and reassembled my truck. Im not sure of the correct part name, but the black rod that turns the rear wheels is rubbing on my A-Arm, on both sides. Lets assume for a second that my A-Arms on on right (ill double check tonight, but I think they are) is there an adjustment for this?
I bought the GTR shocks and Progressive springs, I have not installed them yet, Ive done a few searches to see if this was answered before but all I could find is someone stating that they run the black ones in the rear, that leaves me with the purple or blue ones in the front? For track racing. And I see a lot people running black in the front tan in the rear, are black progressive springs different than, I dunno, the more common black springs?
Anyway if someone is bored and have any suggestions I would really appreciate it, I would love to hit the track this weekend.
