I would not do the alum. arms as I have lived and learned on those. They are too stiff and have no give in them. One day I went to figure out why my rear tires were not sitting right and found that the alum. arm where the suspension pin go thru had bent and cracked. it was all i could do to get the pins out the had basically seized in there and when things need to pivot alum meshed with steel will eventually sieize. I would if I were you is to go with the RPM arms up front and out back. And with all this and I only had 1/2 gallon thru it at the time.

I like the looks of the Vantage pipe myself.

    +1 on the RPM a-arms.

If you really want aluminum, I have some lightly used Integy blue arms you can buy.

    Custom body perhaps.

Why are you upgrading it so much? Wait until you break something and then buy an upgraded part. Upgrading a perfectly fine truck makes no sense.

Not totally agree.... some ppl just want to spend $$ on their RCs, that's what this hobby for. Believe or not, my bulletproof Jato cost me over $1k. I know, just like my screen name.........I'm a RC Crazy!

Me too! When I started my initial bill was 950.00 when I picked up my car. She asked if I had brought a truck to haul it all. Still spending. Even today I went for some anti squat pieces and ended up coming home with 2 new water proof servos,40&50 weight shock oil and clutch shoes.

I don't know if they worth it or not. I guess if you do a lot of tumbling with your Jato it could be useful. Check this roll cage out!

I've got the HBZ cage on my Jato.....

    http://www.hbzusa.com/hbz_jato_rollcage.php

It adds quite a bit of weight and if you look at the pic you will see the front end only fits to the stock bumper, if you have the RPM bumper you would need to figure out a solution for attaching it, I used zip ties and it seemed ok. The stock shell doesn't quite fit over it and the Pro- Line Crowd Pleazer 2.0 and F-150 shells don't fit. If you want to run with a shell over it which I did, I had to stick the cage in a vice and bend the sides in a bit, it worked fine and doesn't look any worse for it.
