Stampede upgrade questions

Hey guys so I have had my stampede or about 3 weeks now and there are a few things I want to see if they are possible. First I was wondering if there is a way to relocate that battery box thing on the rear skid plate. It just seems like a lot of weight on the rear. Also I am thinking about replacing that with a rechargeable battery pack. Thoughts? Secondly I am interested in maybe a slightly larger gas tank so I can go longer between refills. Also I am considering wide A-arms for increased stability. any one have experience with doing this that might be able to chime in? Let me know if all this is possible. I really appreciate the help.

as for wider a arms, do a jato arm conversion. it makes it a whole lot wider; by about 1-1.5" on eash side. you need
jato arme front and back/ traxxas 108mm long turnbuckles for steering/ i think 82 or 84mm turnbuckles for front and rear camber/ traxxas' 26mm(part #3194 or 3188 for 20mm) 26 is more than enough/ jato stub axle carriers/ jato rear axle stub(i didn't get that) . you need to switch the front arms(left one goes on the right side so you can align the shoch holes up without extra dremeling. you need to dremel a little bit off the front bulkhead for the arme to fit rightly, and a little off the rear carriers. that should be it. oh, and you might need some longer hingepins

t-maxx tank fits perfect, just need to drill couple small mount holes. adds 50cc more fuel.
