    Idler Gear

Well I just broke the 2nd transmission idler gear in 3 days. Everything was good till I upgraded to the Traxxas Brushless (Now it is better) but I have been told that the gear that comes in the truck is a good gear. So what am I doing wrong?

Is your slipper locked down? Try backing off the slipper a little bit.

also some of the teeth on the gear could have fallen off the first time and it could be getting stuck and makeing it strip again. happened to me

I grenaded all three trans gears running 3S with my slipper accidentally locked down too much. The idler gear was missing 50% of its teeth!
