    DeWalts are amp hungry. I feed mine 252 continuous amps of LiPo power.

    my venoms don't get that hot but I was running 14t maybe your pinions too big?

    Yes... with a but. It would have to be 10 gauge (maybe 8?) to handle the current without bursting into flames. Two 14AWG wires are used so you don't have to solder a massive wire onto the ESC and motor. I put two black and two red 12AWG on my dewalt even though they still hook up to the 14AWG ESC wires.

    I have set of E REVO tires also for parks/tracks. put a gun on summiit today. 22 mph 14t 8.4v
    27 mph 14t 5s lipo
    30 mph 18t 8.4v
    34 MPH 18t 5s
    have lvc beeper that plugs into bal connector of batts. 2s on left and 3s on right. AWESOME!

    and for the critics out there i know the summits not a erevo but i cannot afford both and when i go out with my buddies RC ing, they got slash, blitz, aftershock with a million mods so it stays together etc... I feel i have the superior vehicle, its just slow out there (bike tracks and skateparks) but with optional pinion/tire combo it becomes waaaayyyyy better on bashing. plus its sooooo strong, durable and well built when the days done everyones broken every time but my Summit and MERV !!!!!!!GO TRAXXAS!!!!!!!!
