Sure, as long as the local laws allow it, your neighbors don't mind, and you are willing to risk having it run over by a car.

I've heard many, many, sob stories about 1:1 cars crushing 1:10 cars because they were being run on a street.

As dkelly told you it is ok to run it on the street as long as you check your local laws and the neighbors!!! I run mine on the road in front of my house. The thing is though I can only drive it at certain times of the day because most of my neighbors work 2nd shift and get rather cranky if I wake them up!! So be sure to check with the neighbors!! And watch out for the 1:1 cars for sure because it is hard to hear them over your screaming nitro engine!! I almost got my 4-TEC creamated a few times if I wouldn't have done some quick driving to get off the road!!

Yeah my dad and I run at night mostly since he gets home late(6pm)and we just run it up and down a patch of the street,Doesn't bother the nieghbors

do you have like Industrial Park around you? they usually have nice parking lots, no close neighbors and they're usually close on saturdays and sundays. we here in the jersey shore have a UPS close by and they're closed on sundays..... we have all day to play

i run mine up and down my street but the gravel is kind of coarse which wears out the tires quick but its cool since i dont have to drive no where...my neighbors even enjoy watching my car go up n down the street!
