    My Ford F-150 Body

Got this a couple weeks ago and finally got around to painting it. I wanted to do something different so this is what I came up with. California Highway Patrol.

I haven't driven it yet, the rear looks like it might rub if the suspension is compressed all the way down. A couple guys at the Track on Friday were running the body and they didn't seem to be rubbing.

That looks great! I live in Culver City CA and they've actually use the F150 for some of their cop cars

I just bought the F150 also, I haven't painted it yet, but I did notice that the Lexan is really thin. I was pretty disappointed in that. I was hoping it'd be much thicker than the Slash 4x4 PE stock body, but it's about the same. Was yours thin also? I've heard the Silverado body is thicker and I have the Baja Bug and it's definitely much thicker.

    Hey Scott,
I bought the F150 body as well and it is really thin, reminds me of the stock body which is not good. I have both the Baja and the Silverado and they are definitely a lot more thicker and more durable.

    Strobe lights would be awesome=)

My F-150 body doesn't seem any thinner than any other Pro-line bodies I have.

Hopefully it will last longer than my Silverado Body.

It only seems thinner on the door by the nerf bars. I reinforce the trouble areas anyway and run duct tape in areas where rubbing can occur.

yeah, 1/8 Scale Track + 3S Lipo + big jumps = Big Crashes. After that pic I hit a steel sign post head on doing about 50mph. Broke camber link, bulkhead, chassis and body mount. The RPM A-arms and bumper, no damage.

    Looked like this before.
