Help with LVC 2cell Smart Stop

I have a 2 cell smart stop hooked up with a craiger harness on the BEC side of the EVX-2 and am running 2 ******* 2cell 5800Mah batteries. I Disconnected the EVX 2 futaba plug from the esc and plugged it in to the smart stop and pluged the smart stop into where i took the futaba plug out of the esc and im getting everything working but throttle. steering and lights and all servos work and getting the red light on the smart stop but im not getting a green light on the evx-2 or a red one but everything is still on and working but the throttle on the truck. PLEASE HELP! I unhooked the futaba plugs and took the smart stop out of the circuit and the throttle works so im lost.

Are the Futaba plugs plugged the correct way(color code)? Did you set up the smart stop?

Read the instructions for the Smart Stop. It needs to be set up. There is a small button on the Smart Stop that needs to be pushed, but I can't recall the sequence right now. The instructions will walk you through it.

Plug the esc wire back into the Rx and reprogram the esc without the LVC (see Traxxas owners manual for instructions). Check to make sure that everything works at this point. If all good then hook the LVC back up and carefully go through the setup procedure again. Don't push and hold the Esc setup button once the LVC is hooked up. I think the green ESC light will only come on briefly until the LVC is programmed.

I have to ask, but you are using full charged batts aren't you?

No being funny but are you positive positive and negative off the lvc are correct for the positive and negative of the esc? Also, refresh my brain as to what s craiger is? And also are you positive the esc plug is in the right way on the smart stop? And are you using the LED with the smart stop? Is it doing anything?

Edit: sorry for the double positive :-p

Ill try everything that was said. Thanks for all the advice i will try monday as i am out of town. The craiger is where you can run NIMH batteries also if you search it you will find it it might be spelled with a K but its like an extension that goes in between the batteries on the bec side and powers the LVC instead of direct wiring it where it gets power if you plug any type of battery in. Yes i am using brand new fully charged 5800 2s ******* packs they run great in my PE Slash. Yes i have also made sure everything is plugged in the correct way.

Smart Stop is completely shutting off throttle signal due to low voltage. You either are not getting the correct voltage/ground to the Smart Stop or it is defective.

Hi guys, I've got a lvi,its supposed to squeal when the battery gets low,it peeps for a second then the light starts flashing,a lot of good when the trucks up 100ft away in the woods and the light's under the body!!! Its a pity you can't run the servo's &rx off a 9V battery, then when the truck shows signs of slowing ,just pick it up & change the batteries! Anyone know if this is possible for us non electrical genii?
