question on aluminum

I recently got a few aluminum upgrades for my slash. The holes already have thread in them for the screws which match perfectly but they keep coming loose! My rear hub carrier kept getting loose and later on a screw came out of the front shock tower..... How do i keep the screws from unscrewing? Will regular locktite work?

yep you will need some blue lock-tite

Blue loc-tite is a must on any screw that threads into an aluminum part

Na just do it one screw at a time. Take one out, loc tite it, and put it back in, then move to the next screw.

One more thing that guys maybe forgot to mention. Use as little as possible. Less is more in this matter. Put the loctite to the end of the screw, two threads is enough. If you use too much, you might have a problem to unscrew it and in a worse case you can strip the head of the screw. In case you can't unscrew it well, use a cigarette lighter or soldering iron (tip). Heat helps to unscrew.

Im sure we all thought it but I will say it,

Make sure you use "Blue" NOT "Red"

You will be upset if you pick up the red by mistake. They are not the same. Blue is removable and red is forever! The red will never break loose. Just tryin to help you out. Good luck.

also, on the reply above: NEVER EVER EVER use the green loctite
That stuff is basically super glue...except stronger
