    damage spur Gear

    Hey would you recomend this spur gear?

    steel 54T spurt gear (jato but fits in the slash 4x4)

    Or should I get the center diff instead of the slipper clutch?

    I ran a metal spur on my 2wd, was not really happy with it, tooo much noise and wears A LOT faster that the plastic....and when they wear out you have to replace the pinion as well .

    Stay with the 3$ cheap ones. I did have good success with the "Delrin" machined gear. But even that at 10$, Ide rather have 3 cheap plastics, easy to replace and the risk of breaking other parts are significantly lower.
    I know it sucks thinking you have a crap pastic gear in there. but trust us. The cheap way IS the way on this part.
