anyone used LIFEPO's in their stock Summit??

looking into new batteries, wondering if they're worth the money.
if i go lipo, i'll have to buy a new charger anyway, but a lifepo charger will cost even more...but the lifepo packs last longer
so i guess i'd like to know about performance as the maxamp lifepos are only 6.6 volts each? thanx

also wondering if anyone knows, what ******* lifepo's are good for the summit and do they require low voltage cutoffs?

I've heard of Revo and Summit guys running LiFe packs. With LiFe packs you don't need a LVC off and they have a high current output aswell as more cycle abillities. The problem with LiFe packs is they are only 3.3v a cell where LiPos are 3.7v a cell. You get more power and longer runtimes with LiPos.

most good lipo chargers can charge Life packs as well. And they are still pretty inexpensive as well

you can never have too much C rating. Too little is when the problems start. Ask the MMM brushless guys
