OK so over my spring break from college I decided it was time to pull my rc stuff out to relax. My Jato has been sitting in my garage for over a year maybe two. So I pulled it out, charged the receiver battery, got new plugs, new fuel, new tires, loosened up the engine and got to work. I have never been good at tuning but things seem worse then before. First it takes forever to get started and once I do I got to rev it to keep it going. Other times it will just stall, and lately on high speed runs it seems like it wants to shift but then starts like bogging at the point and never gets it. ALso the fuel tank had a little fuel in it so I washed it with soap and water and got most of it out. few questions
1. could the hard starting be due to bad fuel flow due to a clogged fuel filter in the tank? how can I clear it out? should i replace the tank, already replaces the fuel lines.
2. I have never heard it shift before, is that cause it has never been tuned enough to get it there or do I need to adjust the shift point
3.I have never got it to wheelie, could it be to the battery up front or just bad tuning?
Thanks and sorry, I be out of the game for a while but just driving it up and down my street was so much fun!!! thanks for the help!!!!
