    Thinking of building a PE.

Has anyone tried pricing all the parts to build a PE? Im sick of waiting on it to come in stock. I started compiling a list but figured i would ask if anyone has already found out the total cost. Thanks.

Considering that the center diff alone is 60+, I believe it is going to cost quite a bit over buying a PE kit.

OK when will they get them in???? I have looked into the same thing you are and was looking for awhile. EVERYWHERE that I looked for the center diff or the alum parts they were not cost advantagous. Center diff is 60+ and the only place to get is Ebay. The alloy ranges but on average 35 per set. The tires/rims are 55+. Do the math. I think I came up with about 150.00 just for the parts that the PE comes with......then you need a kit or roller which you may be able to get for 150.

Still, it will probably cost a lot more, especially with the big bores and velineon.

I believe reading somewhere that the PE specific parts come to around 300.

Honestly, I would check ebay for a roller chassis w/ center diff and buy a RTR and swap them and either hold onto the extra parts or sell them.

Not having a 4x4 slash to play with would leave me balding from pulling my hair out. The anxiety of waiting 2 months for a week or two window into possibly getting one would kill me.
