    Lipo

    Venom LiPo 2S 7.4V 5000mAh 20C
    Venom LiPo 3S 11.1V 5400mAh 20C
    Venom LiPo 3S 11.1V 6400mAh 20C "like this one"
    Venom LiPo 3S 11.1V 5000mAh 20C

    Anyone use the VENOM?

you should look for a higher c rating for the brushless edition, like a 30c. 5000mah 30c i think is minimum suggested

20c x 64 = 128A. 100 is the minimum, so that is OK, but the others are too low IMO.

As Daniel said, the more Cs the better, but ensure you multiply by MAH to get a value ideally at around 150 or above

It's probably too late since you already ordered the Maxamps, but I run a set of these and they are great. I'm actually on my 2nd set since my 1st ones had problems with MAH and punch. A call to SMC and they tested them and sent me a new set. The first 3-4 cycles where really good and then by the time I hit the 5th cycle they really woke up. The punch is insane and will now run circles around my *****'s. Definitely happy with the performance and SMC customer service.

I have another experience than cubsfan2010 one : mine puffed and lost their power after maybe 20 cycles... Really disappointed

Did you contact SMC? Mine had about 30 cycles and where 3 months old, but SMC still warrantied them. The new ones rock!

Although SMC won't say what was wrong, I think there was a quality issue with a batch and they fixed or re-engineered the problem in the newer batches.
