    Traxxas' Museum?

    Hello Guys,

I was wondering the other day why there is not an official Traxxas' Museum?

I already have like a small museum at home with the latest models and I'm very proud of it (over 30 trucks and 1 boat so far).

I would love to see a very big and nice room with at least one of each of the models released since Traxxas started their business.

They could have one at the Traxxas' Headquarters, one in Europe, and who knows, maybe one in Latin America (hint, here in Argentina).

It would be so cool to see the very old models but like brand new (I bet they have a few in stock that have never been run or assembled).

What do you think guys or PeterV? Is not a silly idea, and is not that hard to do, right?

    Daniel.

PS: also, how about a virtual museum, like a Java application where you can visit a virtual room like in the important museums in the World?

I think that this is a good idea. Atleast in the virtual sense. It would be nice to have more detailed pictures (maybe some 360deg. views) of our legacy models. That way, collectors will be able to tell the differences between models i a way that exploded views may not offer.
I will be sure to pass this on to the right people.

well... aside from a fantastic product, customer service is the forte with traxxas... another reason i personally believe its the best company to buy from. i cannot count how many traxxas vehicles my friend and i have "sold" for our lhs.

I was sad to see that there was no museum in the lobby at TRAXXAS world HQ today when I visited.

They should at least have the current models in a glass case. Walking in, you would have no idea they were a RC company if you didnt already know... trust me!

This is a good idea, I would love to see a virtual museum, I would even go to a real one if I happened to be in the area.

Right!!! But, not only of the legacy models, the new models as well...

It would be too cool to be able to rotate 360º and zoom in/out a truck with the mouse... Like Google Earth 3D style or applications like that...

    Thanks!!!

    Daniel.

I did not know Traxxas had 60% of the market that is awsome. I am glad that I own 11 different models from them. I would love to see that meuseum as I bet it will have the RC's as well as the full sized riggs that they sponser and helped to creat that segmant of racing.

Don't forget to have a history of each vehicle. Something on a shelf is pointless without a story to back it up.
