I can tell you the last battery you linked to fits. Its a perfect fit width wise. You will need the battery hold down that is taller though, the stock hold down wont work.

Take the dimensions off the last battery and compare to the others.

All the batteries fit in the tray. batteries 2 and 3 require Traxxas hold down bracket #5827x because they are taller than 24mm. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUVZ8&P=7 All the lenghts are fine. Widths up to 51 mm are fine, battery is snug wont move around. No mods to box needed

The 40c battery below in my Slash is 27mm tall, it needs holdown #5827x 145x50x27mm

    http://*********.com/*********/store...idProduct=9962

This 20c battery below fits in my Slash with stock hold down #5827 , its 24mm tall. 145x51x24mm

For these batteries do you just cut off the ends and attach a trx connector?

These seem pretty cheep compared to other batteries.

Is that a simple thing to do? Is there ways that I could screw up the battery if I do it wrong? Or run a risk of burning my house down? haha Do they sell any with TRX already connected?

I havent seen a Lipo from Hong Kong that comes with the TRX connector. All you have to do is solder on a new connector. Once you know how to solder its easy. Just finished doing one myself. There are positive and negative post's on the connector that go with the wire colors, red positive black negative.

On my last order I used the cheapest/longest method and it took 2.5 weeks I think.

make sure you have a big wattage gun, it will make this so much easier. a local electronics repair guy helped me out after i struggled with a 100 watt gun and that 10ga wire. i picked up a 230 watt gun at radio shack and it was easy. o use a third hand to solder but that clamp on wood looks good too.
    What?

No offence, and it's too late now but.... You live near a great hobby shop. I live in Canada and purchase most of my stuff here. http://www.greathobbies.com/index.php I purchased 3 of these batteries and they are amazing. http://www.greathobbies.com/producti..._id=TGHC500L40 Run time is amazing. The battery comes with a deans connector which you can use for charging. You would need this http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...od_id=TGHX2001 to connect to your ESC. If you purchase min. of 2 you receive 20% off. NO US exchange rate, NO Duties at the "border", cheaper shipping, and super fast delivery. Keep them in mind for future purchases, they are a great place to deal with. Just my .01 cent

That is incorrect information. The last battery fits perfect WITH the stock battery strap. That is the only battery I use in my 4x4. You just flip the battery strap over so it raises up. The only mod is to cut the battery tray for the wires.

That is not incorrect information. That battery wouldn't fit no matter what way I put the hold down. You might have gotten the bigger strap. The one mine came with is straight across. There are 2 different size straps, I can show you a pic if you like.

    I got the 4500 3s
    http://*********.com/*********/store...dProduct=10283
and it is a tight fit. The wires out the side are a real problem. Ya need to cut the holder side for them and make sure the battery stays put. The stock holder works fine. They work fine bashing around but I have to run hardcase at the track. ********* doesn't have any hardcase 3s I can find!
