    Don't apologize - that's a great looking shell.
You should post it in the Gallery too, if you haven't already.

Looks like mine. The large side bull decal was the biggest pain for me due to the Slash 4x2 body having a crease going down the side.

for me also the large side bull was a pain..
but I used a hot air blower to make the decal more flexible to get it to follow the body's curves

yours looks pretty nice also.. great job !

I tried the heat gun, but the decal still wouldn't conform. I ended up having to cut the decal at the body crease and along the front door jamb and still had to stretch the darn thing to look right. In hindsight, I should have used a Slash 4x4 body, but wanted something different than the body that came with the truck. Oh well.

How'd you do the custom decals? I was wondering if I could print off my own decals on my computer and use that XXX Magazine pic paste to affix them to the inside body? If that's how you did this, did you use special paper?

DETAILS please!!! LOOKS GREAT by the way!

Can you guys share where you got the decals? They look very nice. I got some off ebay a while back and they looked terrible. You could tell the guy had printed them on a cheap inkjet or something

I went a different route and got a complete body wrap made by Tru-RC on an SC10 body. I love the look, but you guys have no idea what "hard to install" is.

We have printed the stickers in a local shop for car advertisement and promotion stickers, the same companies that also cut letters for company cars. Will be found everywhere! They print it on white sticker film and laminate it with a transparent cover film to make it water and UV resistant. The data is made out of the logos you can download in the web and then arranged in the right size and proportion to the needs of the body. When you also create a cut path than the stickers can be also cut out in the shop. Its all about 25€ and a lot of work on the computer. You will find most of the logos on brandsoftheworld but make shure, you dont start a company to sell the stickers its not really legal because you dont have the permission to make money with some ones logos ....If its a one off for your own use it should be ok. I also tried to use printable stickers for ink jet and laser jet printers but they are not as good as the proffessionals, the print quality is superp if you have a good printer, but they want last long

hello folks, may i join in the party too?

Above done on flexible clear vinyl so they are able to be persuaded to stretch around the complex Slash body contours just below the A-pillar.
Bit of heat & a creditcard wrapped in cloth is your best tools.

If the vinyl is too thick plus lamination it won't stretch much; common issue
with shops that are used to only doing fullsize wraps or dirtbike graphics.

Clear vinyl also allows specialist printing in white; the 1:1 RedBull truck
has a several mono-white small sponsor logos which is impractical to be done
via any vinyl cutter at such tiny sizes.

All boils down to how pedantic modeller you are, i guesss

Body colour above is a Suzuki/Telefonica dark candy mica blue,
not easy to snap good pics of.

Tamiya's truck is the one from the pandagfx.com website that I used to order my decals. It's a company in Australia. The decals were great to work with.

    oops sprung

haha actually same shell, slightly reworked & now pictured sitting (much lower) on a 4X4

Colour is the Telefonica mica blue as used for Suzuki racing bikes; over black.
Its very dark midnight blue that flashes to sky metallic blue at certain angles.

Your car looks great! Hopefully the decals dont get wrecked/ate/peel though as the body takes a beating. When i was starting out early last year i ended up painting (no decals) my red-bull body and it came out pretty good. I had a friend cut the masks on his vinyl cutter and it worked out pretty good! surprisingly easy to do.

ended up selling it though to somebody as there was about 9 redbull trucks at our track =o\
