    Slash Bumper Led's

Hey guys,i know there are led kits out there but i just wanted to experiment and this is what i came up with,it's not the neatest setup but looks pretty cool, also gives off alot of light, just test drove it tonight lol.
BTW if anyone wants this setup i can ship it for $20 with the bumper and the 4 led's obo.

haven't figured out anything for the back yet but ill ponder on it,i also have about 8 bigger led's(194) blue if anyone needs any.

nice job! i really like the lights being on the truck rather than mounted to the body. more durable and easier to plug in.

here are the ones my boy and i made, they are shoe goo-ed into lego bionicle pieces that had the perfect size hoes for the led's we scavenged out of a light saber. the legos are zip tied to the bumpers so i could mount them without any modding of the actual truck. didnt have any red led's so we made the taillights green so we could tell which way its pointed after a wreck when it is halfway down the block.

what front axles are you running? those dont look like the stock ones unless you made a boot to fit over the yokes. i'd really love to find some that are more durable than stock and cant find cvds for the front ANYWHERE!

Look's like a balloon end where you tie the knot at, there's a post on the forum on how he did it.

Here's a tip to mount LEDs that I found. Tie rod ends or whatever they're called. The plastic piece on the end of the tie rods that has a pivot ball in them make great 5mm led holds. I used them on my slash 2x4 once if you look at the bottom of the pic you can see what I'm talking about. Held up great and never broke one time.
