Cool Slash 4x4 Video: Chimera-A challenges Lake Chabot northwest

    Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDQv24bUzSA

This is the first of three new runs I've done with a MMPro/18.5 combo. This was geared 9/54 and running just a 7.4V battery with no other new changes since my last video, other than the installation of the new overtray.

Is that the MMPro esc? I didn't know a brushed motor can be used with MM esc. This looks like a fun truck to drive around.

Thanks guys. Now I'm running the MMPro with the Novak 18.5T BL. When I had the 55T brushed motor in it, I was running the MM.

    Question

I love especially the erc5 Tires.

Which diameter and wideness do they have on the Pro Line Wabash Serie 30 Wheels?

And which is a good 17mm hex adaptor?

I heard of Problems in some threads about some manufacturers and also heard that AKA's 17mm adaptors are good?!?

I am very new to the RC business.

    Thanks for help,
    Greetings from Germany

Thanks guys! I'm happy to entertain

dadull110: Diameter is 125mm, width is 66mm. I'm not sure about Slash 4x4 17mm adapters yet -- haven't tried them. I recently got a set of Xtreme Racing ones that look good, but they use a single set screw to attach and I don't like this. I'll see about using screw pins to attach them instead.

I bought the Imex Claw Dawg 2.2 which was an epic fail.
Towerhobbies wrote about 124mm Diameter and 54mm width
That's why I bought them. But they are 105 x 63mm so they don't fit.

Don't you want to make a "How to" on Youtube, showing how to mount 2.2 Tires (your ERC5 which are very interesting AGAIN) on 2.8 Rims?

So I can see if my skills are good enough to buy and try again.
By the way: Are ERC 5 and 3 the same measurements?

    thanks

So sorry they gave you bad info I remember the first time I saw Claw Dawgs in person, and I was just shocked at how low-profile they were.

About doing a how-to on stretching the Integy 2.2's over 2.8 wheels, that would probably be the most boring, and short RC video ever. You literally just... put them on. It takes a little stretching but it's no sweat at all.

ERC3's are very close to ERC5's... I believe they're just a hair larger in outer diameter when mounted on 2.2's. Probably about the same on 2.8's.
