    Pro-line Hardcore Discontinued

Saw this on another forum today. Apparently Pro-line has discontinued the Hardcore SC body. Why? I have no idea as it was one of their most popular SC bodies. Maybe new officially licensed SC bodies coming out soon from Pro-line. One can only hope.

If this was your favorite SC body (as it was mine) better get them while their hot.

I always liked the desert rat version better(not the carnage). Just has a smoother look to it. That is just my opinion though.

Why would they discontinue it and keep the carnage and the Desert Rat? IMO, the last 2 I mentioned are ugly as heck! The hardcore was definitely the body of choice for me and it will be missed.

On the other hand, i hope they replace it with some more licensed bodies.

Ya, the new '09 Chevy body is one of the best looking bodies out IMO. Looks super aggressive and love the squared off lines.

thanks for the tip on how to post pics.

good thing i got one of these before the hardcore was discontinued..custom painted by Zielke Racing. Took a month but worth the wait. i'll post more pics once i have the time to mount it.

Hey JJL...a little FYI...the mods will remove that pic and make it a LINK whenever they catch this. The forum rules are that pics need to be sized to 640x480 MAX size to be posted on here. The reason is that for people with slower connections and pc's the big pics take a while to load.

Definitely NOT an issue with ME however! lol (I've got over $5k invested in just my tower and am on a VERY fast cable connection)...anyway, I'm not complaining, just filling ya in so you don't get surprised when your pic disappears.

BTW KILLER paint job...but as often as these things break I don't know that I could ever run a body THAT nice! What'd it cost ya to get that thing painted like that if I may be so bold as to ask?

oops..sorry for the size of the pic, it did seem large, can't edit it anymore. the bod was $140 including shipping, which is a lot of money, but i'm doing ok so went ahead and ordered. he sometimes posts bodies on ebay, which you can get for less and he only charges $7 shipping for those, but the paintjobs aren't as elaborate and they're not always available. i also ordered a set of venom aluminum rims, should look good together. will post more pics later. oh, and no, i probably won't run it, at least not yet, mostly for display.

Here is the Zielke Hardocore mounted on my 4x4 with the Venom gunmetal aluminum rims. couple of nitpicks with the hardcore..the mounting dimples were off, i made the amateur mistake of assuming they were accurate and had to ream two sets of holes on the hood to make it fit properly. also, the molding on the hood and the rear makes it difficult to get the body clips on. Oh well, still think it looks pretty good.

you can loosen and then rotate the posts so that the pins go in easier. From the front of the vehicle my body clips are straight up and down and the rear clips are horizontal. It works a LOT better that way! lol

I noticed the Tower listing says that they won't fit the 4x4...not true. they fit, but stick out slightly due to the increased offset. otherwise, they fit fine. aluminum rims aren't practical since they are heavier than plastic rims, but these are nicely machined.
